About Botswana Golden Grand Prix
The Golden Grand Prix is the only high profile athletics event in Southern Africa and the only other World Athletics Continental event besides the one in Kenya.
The World Athletics Continental Tour consists of a total of fourteen (14) one-day international Athletics competitions (the "Meetings") and for the current athletics season. There has only been one leg that was held in Melbourne Australia, the second leg is to be held in Granada on 22nd April 2023 while the Botswana leg would be the third of the series.
The events meetings attract the finest athletes in track and field and are broadcasted on television across 150 countries.
